Signed photograph of the great Russian-born English conductor, together with an original 1944 concert program of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Fistoulari. He is shown at the podium in an original photographby Baron of London, and has signed and inscribed at the foot in black ink. Blind-stamped at the lower right and stamped on the verso. The concert program, from October 25, 1944 (4 pp.) includes Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet and Franck's Symphony in D minor. Photograph in very fine condition, program with some light foxing, overall fine. Photograph 3.75 x 6 inches (9.3 x 15 cm), tipped to a mount of 6 x 7.75 inches. Program 5 x 8 inches (13.1 x 20.6 cm).

Under the caption "Bruno Walter Dirigiert" ("Bruno Walter conducts"), he is shown in four different moments of performance, captioned "Largo," "Pastorale," "Andante," and "Allegro." Walter has signed and inscribed at the foot to Mrs. Elise Friedhofer, dating San Francisco, April 1951. Photographs by E. Salomon. Spatt; a portrait by Kenn Duncan for the American Ballet Theatre; and three photographs by Martha Swope of Baryshnikov with other dancers. He is seen with Deirdre Barberry in "The Little Ballet," with Elaine Kudo in "Sinatra Suite," and rehearsing with Gil Boggs for "Cinderella."
