Early signed program from the great Austrian pianist, who performed an all-Beethoven recital on November 16, 1960 at the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Vienna. Brendel has signed boldly on the cover. The program included the Eroica Variations as well as Sonatas op. 10 no. 2, op. 101 and 111. 2 pp. Some very light wear to the cover but overall in fine condition. 6 x 8.25 inches (15 x 21 cm).
Signed program from a February 1960 concert of the New York Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall, with pianist John Browning and mezzo-soprano Jennie Tourel, who stepped in for baritone Gerard Souzay in Mahler's Kindertotenlieder. Browning has signed over the first page of the program listing, and Tourel has signed over the listing of the Mahler work, striking through Souzay's name. Some light toning, but in fine condition overall, together with two booklets of program notes and a newspaper clipping about the concert. 23 pp. 7.25 x 9.75 inches (18.6 x 24.8 cm).

The program included works of Mendelssohn, Schubert, Schumann and Ravel, and is printed opposite the program for a later concert of William Primrose and Rudolf Firkusny. Together with an unsigned copy of the flyer and a newspaper clipping about the recital. Area of toning and paper clip mark to the program; overall very good.
