Signed Geoffrey Landesman photograph of the popular pianist duo, signed and inscribed to Harry Friedgut (1901-1975), managing director of the New York City Center of Music and Drama. Very fine. 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm). 

Pianists Arthur Loesser and Beryl Rubinstein were fellow-faculty members at the Cleveland Institute of Music and played recitals and toured together from the 1920s to the 1940s.  Arthur Loesser was the half-brother of Broadway composer Frank Loesser and, amusingly, would refer to Frank as “the evil of two Loessers.” (23122)
