A collection of paintings by the popular sports artist featuring his impressions of the French capital, depicting an array of monuments, museums, nightlife, parks, and grand boulevards etc. A GI cook with the American First Army, Neiman took part in the liberation of Paris and returned many times, pen and paper in hand, to record the city's enduring charm. In fact, some of the most vibrant and pleasing reproductions in this lavish volume are pages from a sketchbook he worked in at "his" table at Fouquet's in 1991 and 1992.  (22972)
