The festival was focused on Richard Strauss (Salome, Ariadne auf Naxos, Intermezzo, Arabella, Friedenstag). In addition, works by Dittersdorf, Mozart, Wagner and, as a novelty, Hans Werner Henze (Elegy for Young Lovers) were performed.
