Signed program booklet, Festspiele der Oper zu München 1961.  Softcover, 88 pp.  Signature of Karl Böhm, one of the conductors at the festival, on p. 41.  Signatures of singers: Austrian soprano Wilma LIpp, German tenor Karl Schmitt-Walter and Austrian baritone Otto Wiener (all p. 53), Ukrainian-Austrian mezzo-soprano Ira Malaniuk (p. 57), Austrian mezzo-soprano Lilian Benningsen and German tenor Friedrich Lenz (both p. 61) and American baritone Jess Thomas (p. 69).  Oblong format, 8.5 x 9.25 inches (22 x 23.5 cm).  In fine condition.

The festival was focused on Richard Strauss (Salome, Ariadne auf Naxos, Intermezzo, Arabella, Friedenstag). In addition, works by Dittersdorf, Mozart, Wagner and, as a novelty, Hans Werner Henze (Elegy for Young Lovers) were performed. (22434)
